摘要: Summary Individual loci affecting economically important traits can be located using genetic linkage between quantitative trait and markers. In the ‘granddaughter’ experimental design, heterozygous grandsires their sons are genotyped for marker, while records of granddaughters used statistical analysis. Ten DNA microsatellite markers were to look associations with milk production in seven Israeli Holstein grandsire families. At least 60% more heterozygous, 40% fewer individuals discarded because unknown paternal allele origin, as compared diallelic The effects alleles locus D21S4 on kg protein significant (P < 0.025). substitution sire 783 283 5.7 protein. For both traits, progeny that inherited ‘18’ had higher evaluations than ‘21’. These results verified by genotyping 151 his daughters. Thus, rate gain increased selecting carrying at this locus.
