Charge-Compensating Defect in Ceria-Doped Strontium Barium Niobate by Electron Energy-Loss Spectroscopy and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy

摘要: Undoped and CeO2-doped Sr0.5Ba0.5Nb2O6 (SBN) powders were synthesized using the solid-state reaction method. The lattice parameters of undoped SBN evaluated X-ray diffractometry. valence state cerium ion in Ce-doped was identified photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), 3+ confirmed. charge-compensated defect doping ceramics, i.e., excessive oxygen ions occupying vacant O(4) or O(5) site, further evidenced electron energy-loss (EELS) XPS. relationships defect, structure, binding energy, temperature maximum relative permittivity (Tm) discussed.
