摘要: Abstract One hundred patients with supratentorial malignant gliomas were prescribed to receive postoperative whole brain irradiation doses ≥5000 rad; 41 had astrocytoma grade III and 59 IV tumors. The median survival was 91 weeks for tumors only 42 those (p For the 30, 56 respectively, these differences significant use of higher radiation well tolerated; it did not compromise quality survival, yield normal tissue necrosis. However, seem alter total patients, nor they capable sterilizing Histopathological changes that observed in irradiated 7000–8000 rad suggest increasing beyond this range might attain tumor sterilization, but could also lead frank necrosis patients.
