摘要: Ochratoxin A (OTA) is a mycotoxin produced by secondary metabolism of several fungi belonging to the genera Aspergillus and Penicillium. OTA potentially nephrotoxic, neurotoxic, immunotoxic carcinogenic in animal species humans. This toxin has been detected human food feed. The aim this study was determine blood samples healthy affected chronic kidney disease (CKD) dogs. CKD group showed higher incidence OTA-positivity than dogs (96 vs. 56%) significantly median value plasma concentration (0.008 0.144 ng/ml). No significant correlation observed between levels creatinine values first regarding detection dogs; presence nephropatic patients but not yet clear, if it correlated with progression disease.
