摘要: The occurrence of ochratoxin A (OTA) in canned (26 samples) as well dry pet foods (17 for cats and dogs was investigated. In addition, 26 feline kidney samples with or without alterations were surveyed OTA-residues. separation detection OTA carried out by an isocratic high-performance liquid chromatography system based on reversed phase fluorescence detection. After homogenization extraction steps, immuno-affinity columns applied sample clean up. could be detected 47% (n=40) the food samples. Those found positive contained generally low amounts (0.1-0.8 microg/kg original substance). Higher levels only two (3.2 13.1 toxin, respectively). Low concentrations also iIn tissue cat kidneys, 16 analysed kidneys (n=26) being positive. concentration between 0.35 1.5 tissue. No relation pathological findings assessed.
