摘要: Cholesteryl ester liquid crystals were discovered with a new application in sensing traction forces of single cells. The crystal bio-transducer is produced by manual scraping onto the petri dish, which technique highly subjective to skill user produce homogeneously spread substrates. This paper describes development an apparatus used substrate using squeegee coating technique. It consists biaxial mechatronic system synchronously controlled vertical and horizontal directions substrates evenly on surface dish. thickness was profiled laser diffraction homogeneity films examined crossed-polarizing microscope. At angular speed 1500 rpm under shear stress 1.46 ± 0.72 kPa, found producing at 132 23 μm dishes. With this apparatus, coatings control dishes consistently produced. has overcome major problem manually cell scraper.
