摘要: This study aims to characterize the estrogen receptor (er) in sand goby (Pomatoschistus minutus) and determine temporal effects of 17α-ethinyl estradiol (EE2) on erα vitellogenin (vtg) gene expression males. Two partial cDNA sequences (erα erβ1) are presented showing conserved structural features with ers other species. Transcript levels for both were low control fish but EE2 exposure (11 ng/L, 29 days) increased a pattern similar vitellogenic females. The relative three vtg genes (vtga, vtgb vtgc) along was determined male exposed (11 ng/L) at multiple time-points over days. All four transcripts significantly induced due rose during time course distinct patterns vtga reached substantially higher level end coinciding rapid elevation expression.
