摘要: AIM The sensitivity of pure pancreatic juice (PPJ) cytology for the diagnosis carcinoma (PCa) is still low. usefulness genetic analyses PPJ seems to be limited because insufficient or false positivity. To improve molecular PCa, we analyzed mutations p53 together with K-ras in DNA extracted not only from sediment but also supernatant samples. METHOD Polymerase chain reaction-single-strand conformation polymorphism and direct sequencing were used exons 5-8. at codon 12 examined by mutant allele-specific amplification. RESULTS In patients detected 42.9% (9 21) 81.0% (17 cases, respectively. incidence was 28.6% 71.4%, By a combination assay sediment, 52.4% (11 PCa cases. Moreover, 7 15 (46.7%) cases which cytologic negative. Among 25 chronic pancreatitis (CP), none harbored p53, although an 28% (7 25) 20% (5 sediment. addition, bands plasma 2 11 whom detectable PPJ. CONCLUSION These results suggest that detection high cancer specificity could improved using Sup samples PCa. Genetic analysis complement cytology.
