摘要: The effects of permanent focal ischemia on specific proteins the cerebral hemisphere were studied by unilateral occlusion middle artery (MCAO) in rat. Brain prepared 72 h after and analyzed sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE). identified their interaction with rabbit antibodies against rat serum anti-transferrin antibodies. SDS-PAGE analysis from ischemic tissue showed significant increase 66 80 kDa components; where a marked decrease 260 protein occurred para-ischemic tissues. stained intensely anti-serum antibodies, indicating that they are related to plasma components. Moreover, band had same electrophoretic mobility as bovine albumin used standard molecular size marker. was transferrin staining antibody. Transferrin immunolocalized penumbra cortex, hippocampal CA1 region dentate gyrus hemisphere. present results suggest alteration brain content (albumin), (transferrin) (unidentified) may reflect early ischemia.
