A Study of Electrical Promontory Stimulation in Tinnitus Patients

摘要: Electrical promontory stimulation relieved tinnitus in 74 (57.4%) of 129 ears (112 patients). There was no significant difference etiology tinnitus, age, average audiogram, or frequency between patients who responded to electrical and those did not. Most not respond the initial trial subsequent trials, suggesting that response treatment predicts response. Patients repetitive were supposed be under severe stress.
