摘要: Abstract The cutting performance of HSS twist drills with various coatings was experimentally investigated in this study. experiments were conducted to investigate and compare the force responses drill life these coated drilling JIS SS 400 carbon steels. experimental results indicate that thrust forces torque generated during process vary within a narrow range for under some conditions. However, average values trust increase feed rates all drills, whilst decrease as spindle speeds up 725 rpm, current experiments. wear widths developed on flank surface also examined, showing TiCN-surface multilayer has least rate amongst drills.
