摘要: In order to obtain a high-performance surface on P110 steel that can meet the requirements in oil/gas field environment, chromium coatings were fabricated by pack cementation. The differed with/without addition of La2O3. Scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDS), diffractometer (XRD) and microhardness tester employed investigate morphologies, element distributions, microstructures, phase constitutions coatings. Friction-wear tests substrate conducted air at ambient temperature humidity. results show uniform continuous are formed regardless adding La2O3 or not. consist Cr23C6, Cr7C3, (Cr, Fe)7C3. La2O3-added coating is more beneficial terms morphology, microstructure, thickness as compared with without Chromizing treatment significantly improves hardness wear resistance steel. tested samples be sorted following sequence: La2O3-coating>no RE-coating>bare
