摘要: During the last years increasing evidence implies that human cytomegalovirus (CMV) can be attributed to malignancies arising from numerous tissues. In this perspective, we will review and discuss potential mechanisms through which CMV infection may contribute brain tumors by affecting tumor cell initiation, progression metastasis formation. Recent also suggests anti-CMV treatment results in impaired growth of positive xenografts animal models potentially increased survival glioblastoma patients. Based on these observations high promoting capacity virus, classical novel antiviral therapies against should revisited as they represent a great promise for halting lower cancer deaths.
