摘要: OBJECTIVE: This report reviews multifetal pregnancy reductions performed transvaginally and tests the feasibility associated loss rates with this technique. STUDY DESIGN: One hundred thirty-four consecutive were analyzed regarding different aspects of total losses complications. The first 40 manually compared last 94 procedures an automated puncture device a thin needle. also as comparison reduction lower-lying higher-lying fetuses located in relation to internal os. RESULTS: A uncorrected rate 12.6% corrected 10.6% was observed. Of 112 pregnancies which fetus reduced, 11 seen. group reducing upper three 22. manual versus groups showed same (10%); however, had larger number subchorionic hematomas after procedure. CONCLUSIONS: data are indicative very low maternal complication (infection) acceptable entire pregnancy. compare favorable those for transabdominally.
