摘要: Objective To determine if the incidence of multiple gestations after IVF differs significantly depending on number embryos transferred and maternal age. Design Retrospective analysis database. Setting Tertiary care academic center. Patients One thousand eight hundred sixty-seven patients undergoing with up to four during 1986 through 1993. Main Outcome Measures The rate singleton >20 weeks estimated gestational age (EGA). Results triplet EGA among ≤34 years three versus was 0.3% (1/335) 2.4% (15/662), respectively. twin two 1.3% (3/234) 7.4% (46/622), Also age, 12.8% (30/234) 15.8% (53/335); 17.2% (107/622); (53/335) (107/622), Conclusions In women IVF-ET, transfer increased gestations, respectively, without improving chance conception. This implies that a policy transferring only should be considered in this group (realizing such may merit modulation pretransfer embryo selection is used.)
