摘要: Abstract Antigen-activated peripheral blood B cells were induced by parenteral immunization of healthy individuals with a polyvalent pneumococcal vaccine, or diphtheria toxoid. Seven to nine days after immunization, high frequencies antigen-specific antibody-secreting cells, representing in vivo activated lymphoblastoid detectable spleen. The cellenriched fractions stimulated for 7 different concentrations rhIL-6. Both the frequency and secreted amount antibody immunizing antigen increased rhIL-6 dose-dependent fashion. Stimulation did not alter isotype distribution cells. A polyclonal anti-IL-6 serum completely abrogated stimulatory effect on vitro secretion. Fluorescence-activated cell sorter analysis revealed that 25–29% large fraction which presumably contained bore IL-6 receptor. Thus, enhances terminal differentiation into plasma
