摘要: We evaluated the clinical improvement of patients with mild to moderate persistent allergic rhinitis (AR) due mono-sensitization house dust mite (HDM) allergen, by sodium cromoglycate nasal spray (Lomusol 4%). Lomusol was used as a single agent treatment, and its anti-inflammatory effects, in early phase reaction were evaluated. Herein we showed that significantly improved subjective symptom scores especially obstruction. This associated significant specific reduction neutrophils influx cytology but had no effect on other cell types. selective levels platelet activating factor (PAF) histamine secretions PGD2, LTC4 or CysLt levels. also able induce eosinophil cationic protein (ECP) without altering percentage cytology. Taken collectively, first evidence possesses inhibition neutrophil recruitment into AR mono-sensitized HDM. may be attributed ability reduce amount PAF recovered secretion. These results obstruction addition, down-regulate degranulation activity well.
