摘要: The overall objective of this study was to evaluate agreement between rectal (RT) and vaginal temperature (VT) measured with the same loggers in dairy cows. Three experiments were conducted. began a validation vitro 24 comparing them calibrated liquid-in-glass thermometer as reference method. association method r=0.996 (P<0.001) negligible coefficient variance (0.005) loggers. In-vivo tested 11 healthy post-partum cows (Experiment 2) 12 early greater body 3). Temperature set record VT RT at 1-min intervals. To prevent straining potential expulsion logger an epidural injection 2.5 ml 2% Procain administered. Association r=0.92 (P<0.001; Experiment r=0.94 3) difference -0.1 0.01 °C. Bland-Altman plots demonstrated for Experiments 2 3, respectively. Furthermore intra-class correlation identical within 3 also agreements (P<0.001). Therefore, continuous monitoring can be used measure
