摘要: Lycium barbarum polysaccharides (LBPs) have been shown to play a key role in protecting the eyes by reducing apoptosis induced certain types of damage. However, it is not known whether LBPs can protect damaged corneal cells from apoptosis. Moreover, no reports focused on guarding against ultraviolet B- (UVB-) The present study aimed investigate protective effect and underlying mechanism UVB-induced rat epithelial (RCE) cells. results showed that significantly prevented loss cell viability inhibited UVB RCE also mitochondrial membrane potential, downregulation Bcl-2, upregulation Bax caspase-3. Finally, attenuated phosphorylation c-Jun NH2-terminal kinase (JNK) triggered UVB. In summary, damage apoptosis, involves attenuation pathway inhibition JNK phosphorylation.
