摘要: We discuss the director deformation near interface between a liquid crystal and solid substrate. The gradient of tilt angle at was measured by Sprokel et al. as function an applied voltage; they obtained larger than that calculated from Frank theory factor about 5. In order to explain abnormal gradient, we have taken into account balance torque interface. estimated when higher voltage is crystals; result agrees well with their experimental result.
