摘要: Fetal raphe cells were transplanted into the anterior corpus callosum (CC) of serotonin (5-HT)-denervated hydrocephalic rats. The levels 5-HT and its metabolite, 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5-HIAA), measured in posterior parts CC at 1-2, 5-6, 7-8 weeks posttransplantation. 5-HIAA part restored to their maximum within 5-6 posttransplantation both nonhydrocephalic In contrast, continued increase for period beyond longer time course restoration may reflect fiber growth from site transplantation remote brain areas. Hydrocephalic rats showed slightly higher (154.4%) (159.5%) part, markedly (254.8%) (388.7%) posttransplantation, compared with These results imply favorable effects interstitial edema associated hydrocephalus on survival outgrowth.
