Rural development and the entwining of dependencies: Transition as evolving governance in Khorezm, Uzbekistan

摘要: Abstract We develop an analytical framework that allows to grasp the evolving patterns of rules and roles in rural transitions, concomitant changes functions expertise. Institutional change is understood as governed by a combination path dependence, interdependence goal dependence. illustrate means in-depth analysis transition Khorezm province, Uzbekistan. In Khorezm, Soviet actors were tightly coupled order contribute shared goals – first all cotton grain production.
