摘要: Complications of local anaesthesia in general have been considered so far as they may be confused with adverse effects anaesthetic drugs. Local anaesthetics give rise to reactions by a number mechanisms. They affect nerve conduction and vasculature at the site injection: effect; but is it unlikely that ever produce an irreversible noxious effect on fibres. regional resulting from blockade; hypotension respiratory depression this mechanism are frequently mistaken for pharmacological agent concerned. focal effects, usually when carried high concentration via arterial supply brain. systemic following absorption or intravenous administration, which manifested principally central nervous system. Ignorance carelessness causative factors serious reactions. Adequate oxygenation vital prophylaxis immediate treatment toxicity, while resuscitative skill equipment must always hand. Idiosyncrasy allergy can only rarely excuse anaesthesia.
