摘要: In previous studies, we have provided evidence that different Fc receptors mediate antigen-induced pulmonary smooth muscle contractile responses after passive sensitization of guinea pigs with IgG1 or IgE antibodies. this study, examined the relationship between contraction and release histamine slow-reacting substance anaphylaxis (leukotrienes) in superfused trachea parenchymal strips as well mediator from minced lung fragments Guinea were immunized to produce either using oxazolone-guinea-pig albumin oxazolone-Ascaris plus cyclophosphamide, respectively. The contaminating IgE-rich serum was removed by passage over a protein A-Sepharose column. Normal passively sensitized intraperitoneally intravenously injections 1 2 days before vitro studies. Superfused tissues challenged 10(-1) mg/ml antigen (oxazolone-human conjugate), contractions leukotriene monitored at discrete time intervals thereafter. At equivalent levels contraction, substantially more leukotrienes released taken IgG1-sensitized animals. amounts IgE-sensitized state approximately 5 38%, respectively, those corresponding state. isolated animals less than 4% Similar differences seen comparable studies on fragments.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
