摘要: Abstract The abrasive wear behaviour of aluminium alloy–sillimanite particle reinforced composite under low stress condition has been reported and the results have compared with corresponding matrix alloy which was produced cast similar conditions. study showed that resistance (inverse rate) higher than alloy. rate decreased sliding distance increased applied load irrespective materials. worn surfaces subsurfaces tested samples were examined in scanning electron microscope order to understand material removal mechanism during process.
