Extraction of Lipid and Cholesterol from Fish Muscle with Supercritical Fluids

摘要: Supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) was explored as a method for removing lipids and cholesterol from fish muscle. Selected conditions of pressure, time, temperature sample size were evaluated effective removal lipid cholesterol. Increasing carbon dioxide (CO2) pressure 2000 to 5000 psig the 40° 50°C had little effect on extent removal. time 3 hr 9 increased Ethanol an entrainer significantly enhanced at all pressures used. (SCO2) SCO2 plus ethanol removed 78% 97% 99% bf cholesterol, respectively, trout The solubility muscle proteins decreased following extraction.
