摘要: Membrane processing offers several advantages over conventional processes for edible oil refining. In recent years, solvent-extracted, screw-pressed, and used frying oils using nonporous denser polymeric composite membranes without pretreatment addition of chemicals has been extensively investigated. the present review, results obtained with real model systems have summarized a comprehensive explanation is provided on mechanism rejection differential permeation constituents. Phospholipid-TG pigment-TG are construed as solute-solvent systems, tocopherol-TG FFA-TG treated liquid mixtures exhibiting permeability. Dense membrane theory appears more applicable than reverse osmosis in qualitatively explaining permeability constituents oil. to potential be one-step process, especially screw-pressed oils, producing premium-quality product. However, development suitable that enable higher fluxes necessary industrial adoption this technology.
