摘要: Testicular steroid hormone concentrations in plasma of early postnatal male pigs were compared with and androstenone the fat at market weight. Positive correlations found between weight (r = 0.46; P < 0.01), estrone sulfate 0.42; testosterone 0.26; 0.05) These not animals that had reached an advanced state pubertal development as judged by high plasma. Significant observed 0.57; 0.05), 0.49; animals. However, correlated sulfate, androstenone, or Plasma hormones cannot, therefore, be used to predict potential for boar taint same In animals, there was a negative correlation -0.57; 0.01) backfat thickness fat. Animals subsequently sorted according into lean groups There strong, back-fat -0.80; well positive among group This seen suggests accumulation from may affected leanness pig.
