摘要: IN several types of locomoting cells, active rearward transport particles on the cell surface has been observed and correlated with motility1-4. No forward previously reported, however. Here we report rapid concanavalin A-coated gold dorsal surfaces lamellipodia fish epidermal keratocytes. These movements are active, not diffusive, more than either particle or rate locomotion. We in migrating, but stationary could block movement by treatment cytochalasin D. studies demonstrate for first time that small numbers glycoproteins can be actively transported to front lamellipodium. suggest this mechanism transports proteins involved locomotion, such as necessary adhesion, also produce an extensile force.
