摘要: BACKGROUND: There are two main proteins in milk; whey and casein. Casein contains casein phosphopeptides (CPP), which released on digestion of the milk. These may increase calcium solubility by binding small intestine. Thus increasing diet help to stimulate bioavailability bone density. The present study tested this hypothesis growing male rats fed diets containing three different concentrations from goat RESULTS: Rats no had significantly lower absorption when compared that contained 80% 57% milk protein as casein; however, significant difference was observed between with varying amounts effect mineral uptake or retention femur. Biomechanical testing analysis femurs showed differences groups. mechanism explain lack remains unclear. CONCLUSION: delivered increased casein, suggesting a minimum level is needed optimize
