摘要: The Carnidae are quite small (1-2 mm) black flies, and probably due to their size, they have not attracted a great degree of attention. One notable exception is Carnus hemapterus Nitzsch, which parasitic on birds, was therefore the centre several studies. Most species saprophagous associated with carrion, feces, or bird’s nests.
