摘要: Abstract Marine structure is designed to be able resist various load conditions during its operational period. However, in design process, analysis of accidental loads, such collision and grounding, has not been included for both merchant ship navy vessel. These loads are spontaneous several remarkable casualties may occur after grounding taking place. The aim this paper investigate structural damage on the target considering failure process extent. This work divided into two parts which Part I, discussed, II deals with interaction sea bottom grounding. In I - Ship Collision, condition side observed, including inner hull impact considered as key determine safety cargo. A passenger modelled designated struck will by striking process. Resistance capability double-hull against evaluated. Virtual experiment conducted nonlinear finite element method order calculate dynamic scenarios built based physical parameter, namely location. Based calculation results, found highly influenced relative height between ships prior collision. Crashworthiness criteria summarized result tendency indicates that mentioned location, produces larger tearing lower part ship. Contribution each scenario resultant force presented later observe behaviour determined location encountering
