摘要: The prognostic significance of dickkopf-1 (DKK1) overexpression in solid tumors remains inconclusive. We performed a meta-analysis to evaluate the impact DKK1 on patients' overall survival (OS) and disease-free (DFS). pooled hazard ratio (HR) with 95 % confidence interval (CI) was used estimate effects. Thirteen studies were included for meta-analysis; four that evaluated hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), two each ovarian carcinoma, esophageal lung cancer, one other cancers, namely gastric breast urothelial colorectal cancer. Twelve evaluable OS six DFS. Our analysis results indicated predicted poor (HR = 1.68, CI 1.36–2.08; P < 0.001) DFS 1.65, 1.37–1.99; 0.001). Subgroup analyses showed significantly related HCC patients 1.65; 0.001), 2.63; 0.045), cancers 1.51; 0.021). Further, 1.53; 2.02; This may be novel marker Asian patients; it could potentially help further stratify clinical treatment. More, well-designed from Western countries are needed confirm this finding.
