Morphologic patterns of male infertility in Saudi patients. A University Hospital experience.

摘要: OBJECTIVES To determine the predominant histopathological patterns seen in testicular biopsies taken during investigation of male infertility and to compare obtained findings with those other similar studies. METHODS This is a retrospective study performed on 230 which were examined Department Pathology at King Khalid University Hospital Riyadh over period 10 years. The grouped into 8 different morphologic categories. We have utilized classification that principally but uses known or suspected clinical associations case karyotypic abnormalities excurrent duct obstruction. RESULTS Of total studied, 72 cases showed normal spermatogenesis, 50 be associated obstruction. Germinal cell aplasia without focal spermatogenesis was found about 90 cases.
