摘要: Calibrachoa x hybrida (Solanaceae) cultivars are widely used in North and South America as ornamental plants. Their potential a source of antimicrobial compounds might be enhanced by seaweed extract (SWE) applications. SWE Ascophyllum nodosum were applied at 5 7 ml/L soil drench or foliar spray on Superbells® ‘Dreamsicle’ (CHSD) ‘Frost Fireʼ (CHSF). The total phenolics, tannins antioxidants composition well specific flavonols leaf extracts determined. Further, the chemical was assessed. treatments significantly number area, dry weight, plant height, antioxidant capacity phenolic, tannin content. increased growth phenols, attributed to stimulatory effects mineral composition. antifungal activity following minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) fungicidal (MFC) range 0.07–0.31 mg/ml from 0.16 0.56 mg/ml, respectively. Moreover, antibacterial MIC bactericidal (MBC) measurements 0.06–0.23 mg/ml 0.10 0.44 mg/ml, most sensitive fungus C. albicans bacterium E. cloacae. results suggest that activities significant increases contents, which ultimately enhance natural alternative antibiotics.
