摘要: A new model of the mid-latitude ionospheric trough is developed on base Intercosmos-19 and Cosmos-900 satellites data (over 1500 orbits). It valid for nighttime (18 to 06 MLT), winter equinox, Kp-indices from 0 8. covers topside ionosphere up 1000 km describes minimum position ΛT depending longitude λ, altitude h, local magnetic time MLT Kp-index. Model presented in analytical form, as well a nomogram versus Kp segment circle (in polar coordinate system) with radius The effective Kp-index taken preceding 4.4 hours used model. Agreement between other equatorial boundary auroral oval discussed.
