摘要: Photosynthetic microalgae are currently the focus of basic and applied research due to an ever-growing interest in renewable energy resources. This review discusses role carbon-unit supply for production acetyl-CoA, a direct precursor fatty acid biosynthesis primary building block growing acyl chains purpose triacylglycerol (TAG) photosynthetic under stressful conditions. It underscores importance intraplastidic acetyl-CoA generation storage lipid accumulation. The main is placed on two enzymatic steps linking central carbon metabolism synthesis, namely reactions catalyzed by plastidic isoform pyruvate kinase chloroplastic dehydrogenase complex. Alternative routes synthesis also reviewed. A separate section devoted recent advances functional genomics studies related TAG biosynthesis.
