摘要: Mutation of the p53 gene is a common occurrence in human breast cancers but by no means universal. However, even tumours where not mutated altered levels protein are often detected. This also observed cell lines derived from cancers. By transfecting such containing either wild type or mutant genes with temperature-sensitive mouse we have established that cellular environment plays critical role regulation expression. The results suggest aberrantly express wild-type may lost normal growth regulatory response to and thus be functionally similar those expressing protein.
