摘要: Parathyroid adenomas (PTAs) are the main cause of primary hyperparathyroidism. Cell cycle regulation in normal parathyroid tissue (NPT) and PTA remains largely unknown. We have systematically explored several components involved p53/MDM2/p19ARF pathway compared results were with NPT. Forty-six 12 NPT immunostained anti-p21WAF-1, MDM2, p53, p27KIP1 antibodies. The slides processed by cytometry statistically analyzed using nonparametric methods (Mann-Whitney test). p21WAF-1 MDM2 expression significantly higher (p<0.05). opposite found for Occasional p53 staining was some PTA, albeit no significant difference comparison In conclusion, proteins more overexpressed PTA. These findings surprising taking into account benign nature making them suitable candidates further molecular analysis.
