摘要: TRAIL is a cytokine with unique ability to induce apoptosis selectively in many transformed cell lines. The instability of and the resistance some cancer cells present main obstacles for clinical experimentation. We generated an adenovirus expressing full-length tested its efficacy several Ad-TRAIL-infected localized protein cytoplasm released same-sized media. Ad-TRAIL was found apoptotic death lines resistant soluble (A549, SKOV3, HT-29 LNCap) TRAIL-sensitive Ad-TRAIL, but not TRAIL, induced TRAIL-resistant lines, manifested by increased sub-G1 proportion, caspase-3 activation PARP cleavage. also media-transferable bystander effect, only In conclusion, two novel characteristics ad-TRAIL were during this study. First, that can sTRAIL. Second, induces which expected increase therapeutic value allowing overcome locally acting nature low transduction rate commonly encountered situation.
