摘要: Abstract The discovery of the histamine H 4 receptor has added a new chapter to century extensive biogenic amine research. human is mainly expressed in cells immune system (e.g. mast cells, eosinophils, monocytes, dendritic T cells) and mediates several effects on chemotaxis with numerous cell types. distinct expression pattern immunomodulatory role highlight its physiological relevance inflammatory immunological processes. Inflammatory conditions, e.g. allergy, asthma autoimmune diseases, were for long time thought be mediated by activation 1 subtype. However, treatment diseases as chronic pruritus, allergic rhinitis use antagonists unsatisfying. Selective ligands and/or synergism modulation may more effective such pathophysiological conditions. Promising preclinical studies underline an attractive target disorders. Meanwhile, first antagonist reached clinical phases respiratory diseases.
