摘要: We present a review of the currently popular preclinical models non-penetrating traumatic brain injury (TBI). This article focuses on animal that cause TBI by applying mechanical energy to head, skull or dura. It attempts provide compendium main characteristics each these experimental in respect acute and chronic histological findings behavioral impairment neurologic motor cognitive function. Finally, several limitations described are discussed briefly.
