摘要: Although the success of renal transplantation is closely linked to immunosuppression provided by cyclosporin A (CsA), best way monitor blood levels CsA still not clear. Trough (C0) are commonly used, but 2-h post-dose (C2) reported correlate better with area under curve. The aim this study was evaluate correlation C2 allograft function in adolescent transplant recipients late post-transplant period (6 months after transplantation) compared C0 levels. data 17 (12 males, 5 females) were evaluated retrospectively. mean age at time 15.212±2.918 years and follow-up 53.172±34.090 months. correlated oral diltiazem doses, while exhibited no correlation. When classified as 0–400, 401–800, 801–1200 ng/ml, statistically significant difference found between these groups respect glomerular filtration rate (P=0.830). 82% patients had beneath therapeutic level (<800 ng/ml), none an acute rejection episode. In conclusion, optimum could be different from adult population. Furthermore, dose seems weaker than Thus, further studies needed determine a more reliable predictor for monitoring target patients.
