摘要: Summary In this study, we have established the colinearity of human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) genomes using stringent conditions DNA-DNA filter hybridization HCMV HindIII fragments and cosmid-cloned AD169 strain DNA fragments. Large were used for preparation radioactive probes by nick translation. These hybridized to digests from three fresh isolates that Davis strain. Using published restriction maps as a reference, results obtained allowed us construct isolates. Confirmation our methodology was found in correspondence between map constructed previously. Furthermore, it is shown variation profiles unique regions genome are due absence or gain sites, not rearrangement This technique allows rapid construction physical any isolate given enzyme provided corresponding be reference available.
