摘要: Abstract Glioblastoma is well known for frequent local recurrences even after radiation therapy. The significance of low-dose normal brain volume analysis usually ignored by clinical radiotherapist. Recently, several reports have demonstrated that ionizing to surrounding tissues augments the secretions mediators, including SDF-1α, VEGF and MMPs. They are essential glioma invasion vasculogenesis processes. It hypothesized irradiated promotes tumor vasculogenesis, resulting in recurrence. This prompts new attention on volumes “normal” treatment gliomas. Improvement radiotherapy techniques expected decrease doses brain. combination inhibitors these mediators would be a promising adjuvant therapy glioblastoma.
