摘要: This paper suggests that in order to analyze the effect of land-use policies on travel behavior an integrated framework extend activity-based models include various issues such as residential location and work place should be developed use. The importance analyzing is continuously increasing transit-oriented developments, mixed land-use, different concentrations schemes, more broadly Smart Growth, are often suggested a means mitigate transportation problems. Given our limited understanding effects polices it imported develop better approaches policies. Activity-based models, treat derivation demand for personal activities, provides opportunity understand explicit modeling activities consequent tours trips enable credible analysis responses their traffic air quality. theoretical starts with urban development inputs; however, there need translate this specific discusses advantages potential behavior. It improvements will general achieve travelers’ shows its over tip-based which simply do not have capabilities. improved approach illustrated through case study based Portland model combined stated-preference choice model. A package policies— including school quality, safety, transit service city center—is introduced, household redistribution regional tested using framework. results show introduced had only marginal travel.
