摘要: Introduction: There is substantial evidence that patients with delusions exhibit a reasoning bias - known as the "jumping to conclusions" (JTC) which leads them accept hypotheses correct on basis of less than controls. We address three questions concerning JTC require clarification. Firstly, what best measure bias? Second, correlated specifically delusions, or only symptomatology schizophrenia? And third, enhanced by emotionally salient material? Methods To these questions, we conducted series meta-analyses studies used Beads task compare probabilistic styles individuals and without delusions. Results found one four measures "draws decision" -reached significance. The exhibited delusional subjects measured draws decision did not appear be solely an epiphenomenal effect schizophrenic symptomatology, was amplified material. Conclusions A tendency gather in reliably associated presence symptomatology. In contrast, certainty task, responses contradictory evidence, do discriminate well between those implications for underlying bias, its role formation maintenance are discussed.
