摘要: Gastric carcinoma represents a group of heterogeneous diseases from its epidemiology, etiology, clinical presentations, pathologic phenotype, and genotype. Management individual patients with gastric cancer requires the knowledge all aspects disease. This chapter intends to address issues related pathogenesis, pathobiology, classification staging, specific diagnostic challenges, assessment post neoadjuvant therapy carcinoma. Furthermore, recent advances in molecular have served as valuable adjunct phenotype The combined clinical, pathologic, genetic effort understanding disease will certainly facilitate personalized treatment ultimately improve survival cancer.
