摘要: The possible consequences of the progressive 'ageing' immune system are increase in autoimmune phenomenon, incidence neoplasia and predisposition to infections. This review analyses clinical expression systemic diseases older patients, focusing on three specific characteristics: frequent atypical presentation elderly, higher morbidity mortality these patients association with neoplasic processes. study manifestations elderly populations should be considered a priority for future medical research because increasing life expectation, especially developed countries.
