摘要: In the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, first step in lactate metabolism is its transport across plasma membrane, a proton symport process mediated by product of gene JEN1. Under aerobic conditions, expression JEN1 regulated carbon source: repressed glucose and induced non-fermentable substrates. also controlled oxygen availability, but unaffected absence haem biosynthesis. negatively repressors Mig1p Mig2p, requires Cat8p for full derepression. this report we demonstrate that, addition to these regulators, Hap2/3/4/5 complex interacts specifically with CAAT-box element promoter, acts derepress expression. We provide evidence transcriptional stimulation protein kinase Snf1p. Data are presented which better understanding molecular mechanisms implicated co-regulation genes involved lactate.
